these are the written location recces which says about the suitability of the location and whether we will need permission to shoot there 

the video is about a girl who brings out anger and aggression in her boyfriends, this is through he not being loyal to them. at the start of the video the protagonist who is male (Aiden west) is in a an alley way after he has been beaten up by a group of lads the main one is sam anderson, but all the viewer sees is them walking away he is blocking the alley way and then a girl (tily pearson) tries to get past and  and kicks him to get him to move out of the way, then he stands up and barges past her. she does not like this and so goes after him to confront him. and she pushes him from behind he drops his cigarette and then turns around and grabs her thinking it is a man starting a fight on him. when he grabs her he realises it is a woman and they share a look of lust for each other. a group of lads witness this and come over then pull him off her thinking he is attacking her. these lads corner him then tily comes over and grabs his hand and pulls him away as she is attracted to ...

these are the notes which the other students had written and the analysis which our teacher had written about our pitch 

above i have designed a rough idea of the layout we would like to use for our website. as you can see we have our artists name along the skyline along with our chosen logo, underneath we have a layout with added short cuts allowing the view to quickly access any part of the page they would like. in addition to this we have a link to all of our artists tracks with music videos going down the left hand side of the page.

digipack flat plan these images are our initial digipack flat plans. the second image is meant to be the front cover, we have seen nice looking images of jake bugg (the singer of love hope and misery) where he is smoking in black and white and we would like to try and combine 2 types of photo whic hare at the bottom of the pages.  in our digipack we wanted to have a photo of the artist in black and white where it looks quite vogue with the person with a cigarette in their hand then we thought if we collected images of this person with smoke coming out of their mouth like in the last image. after we thought of doing this we thought we could try and manipulate the shape of the smoke into looking like a dancing woman.

this is an initial mood board of the indie genre on it there are some outfits which you might see in indie music videos there are also a few locations which we typically associate with the indie genre.

 we decided that for our video narratives that we wanted to make it look as good as possible and to do this we did not want to just use media student who are not very good actors. instead of using media students we want to use A2 drama students, by doing this the work will look more professional and it will help these students which are involved in the video build up their portfolios. this video is us presenting to one of the drama classes what we would like from the student which would like to be involved in the video.
